Annual Master Photo Competition and Holiday Party

Last night was the Atlanta Photographic Society's annual Holiday Party and Master Photo Competition Awards banquet
at Petite Auberge. The annual Holiday Party and Awards dinner presents annual trophies and medallions as well as Master Competition ribbons to the best photographers of the APS club (someday I hope to earn one of the big trophies).

Here I am pictured with an Honorable Mention for Color Print of Bass Harbor Head Light in the Master Competition; 3rd Place for Locomotive #750, 1st Place and Best in Show for Mail Car, and Medallion Award for highest total points earned in the Assignment Zone competition. Lots of other great award winning photographers and images from members of APS. We also morned the loss of three members of the club who all played active rolls in the club. They will be missed.


The Atlanta Photographic Society is a photography club established for the enjoyment of people sharing an interest in photography. APS is a non-profit organization established for photographers from the "Beginner to the Professional". Members participate in monthly and annual photo competitions and photo critiques, educational programs, field trips, and the annual awards banquet.
